I then selected the top three potential realtors based on previous reviews, years of experience, knowledge of the area, and reputation of their parent company. Then, I contacted each realtor as an introduction. My fiancée and I actually had one specific property in mind that we wanted to tour, even before reaching out to realtors, so we ended up going with the first realtor of the three who responded to my initial email. Later that same day, I had a meeting with a loan officer, who ended up recommending Becky Knisley by name, who was one of the three I had initially contacted. I thought, "shoot, too late," since we already been in contact with the other realtor. Well, communication was falling through, and we were getting less-than-satisfactory impressions almost immediately from the other realtor, so we decided to make a switch to Becky (prior to signing or committing to anything with the first realtor). This, ultimately, was the best decision we could have made.Becky was unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful in every regard of the home-purchasing process. From the very beginning, she was ready to get us up-and-running into home tours, basically holding our hand whenever we needed, as we were first-time home buyers. She knew the answer to just about every question we had, and if not, she ensured to follow-up with someone who did and immediately get back to us - often on-the-spot/during a tour, when possible. This is where her experience came into play: her husband is a builder; she personally knew/had previous interactions with multiple listing agents for homes of interest; she had connections with a variety of contractors, service companies, inspectors, etc.; and she knew all of the legal, formal, informal, tricks-of-the-trade processes involved in the largest/most important investment of our lives thus far. Considering that we were first-time home buyers, we could not have asked for a more helpful realtor. I don't normally select a perfect rating for every category of a review, unless absolutely warranted, which it was in this case. Becky made us feel like we were in great hands throughout the entire process. We were initially told by our loan officer, before we had spoken with Becky, that she would feel like family by the time it was all said-and-done. Gary & Becky built our 1st house in 1993, it was perfect for our needs then. Then in 2019 Gary remodeled our house and added a 4 season porch. In 2021 Becky sold our house. She made selling so easy. In 2022 we moved up north and Becky & Gary were so kind in building us our retirement house. We couldn't be more satisfied with the work they have done for us over the last 30 years. Really appreciated Becky's expertise. Becky sold our house before the for sale sign was put up and for more then we ever thought we could get for it. She kept us updated on everything from when and where she would start the advertising to what we needed at closing, and everything in between. Very professional.
